Give Thanks

I know it's early to think about fall but I really don't want the 100+ degree weather to continue.  I love summer but not the heat.  So back to my fall card.  We will be making this in our October 20th class at This N That.
I used our new fall background stamp Playful Leaves.  The wreath with sentiment is from our Grateful Heart ATC stamp.  If you want to learn how to get multiple colors on your background join us in class.  You can call the store to sign up at (909) 464-1108.

Popcorn box

Today I am sharing our Popcorn Box die.  This die is great for little treats to give to friends at a party or even just a little thank you gift.
I decorated this one for Halloween.  I used some of our pattern paper to break up the black box and add a little touch of color.  I used the ink splat ATC to add a background for the Cat.  Add a few sequins and a bow and you now have a cute treat box ready to fill with goodies.

Witch Bird

Today I'm sharing the last card we will be making for our Distress Inks class at This N That.  I had to make at least one Halloween card.  I just couldn't resist using the witches hat and broom in the crazy things stamp set.
I added the clouds and Boo! die cuts from my Fun Stampers Journey dies.  The Moon is a circle punch also from Fun Stampers Journey.  I watercolored the bird using my distress markers.  These birds are just so much fun.

Newsprint Bird

Today I want to share another Crazy Bird card.  I just love coloring up these birds.  They are so much fun especially once you start adding the crazy things to them.
Isn't he just adorable with the hat and bow tie.  I used my Fun Stampers Journey background stamp Newsprint and the Snapshot die.  I colored him using the distress markers and watercolor brushes.  We will be making these next month at This N That.  See my class schedule for dates and times.

Crazy birds

Today I want to share a new card I made for my October class at This N That. We will be using the distress markers to watercolor this cute little bird in her pretty straw hat.

I used my Fun Stampers Journey embossing folder and a mini distress ink pad to highlight the embossed flowers. I then added some mini flowers and pearls to go along with such a pretty bird. I hope you can join us on October 13th for the class. Call the store to sign up at (909)464-1108.

Fair entries

Today I want to share a card I made for the fair. I used the Paris girl stamp and matching papers.
I colored it with my copics and then cut out multiple layers so I could give it a 3D effect. Well, I was so excited when I went  on Friday to see how I did and found a second place ribbon on it.
It was so much fun. Running around and looking for all my cards. Here are the rest of the cards I entered
And finally the one I was most excited about. My mom thankfully made sure I entered this year and that I entered this card because it was truly my best work so far I think.
I really hope there weren't any cameras around because I might have done a happy dance. Lol. My friends also entered and won ribbons too so now we can't wait to do it again next year.

Tiptoe thru the Tulips

Today's card really features the blending brushes, blending solution and inks for coloring.  I really took my time coloring this image and layered the colors to make sure I had depth.
On this close up of the flowers it really shows up.
I also had fun using our dies with the piercing elements.  It just sets the image off nicely and make a beautiful finished frame.

Rose garden

Today we are featuring another ATS stamp.  Rose Garden was used to make this fun card along with our pattern paper and our new Journey Thread.  I used a dauber to color in the roses and the leaves.  I like that this image leaves it open to be very loose with your coloring.  It can escape the lines but still looks great.  I also used 2 colors of the thread to make a full multi loop bow.  Finish it off with a flower button and there you go.  I bright cheerful card for any occasion.

Squirrel

I just love this ATS I am showing you today.  These 2 squirrels are so cute.  This can be used for anything but will also make a great valentines card too.  I used some of the pattern paper from the Vintage Paris collection.  I also love our Cocoa Powder Gingham Ribbon, its one of my favorites.
This is another card we will be making at This N That for the Fun Stampers Journey card class.
