February Bloom box

Today I'm sharing the cards from this months bloom box.  I think this has been my favorite set.  I just love the butterfly and how they showed us to use it to make a background.  For the first card you can see I used 2 colors to make the abstract background and then watercolored in the butterfly on top using our Color Splash pencils.

For the second card I added some color to the embossed piece to give it a little more depth.  I love how they showed us to make the butterfly look like it is resting with wings together on the oval piece on the card.

The third card was also a fun way to show off the color splash pencils and how much color you can get from them.  I then added some splatters with my paintbrush to finish off the card. It was another way to get the look of the silks but with the colors I used to paint the butterfly.

The final card showed us how to use our sticker sheets to make the butterfly a glitter filled beauty.,  Its a fun way to learn how to make any of your images into their own glitter images.  We also used the butterfly to make our own pattern on the background of the card again.  I love gray and pink together. I can't wait to try this technique on may other images.

February Personal size planner

Our personal size planners are very handy to carry around everyday with you in your purse or bags.  They are compact but still give you a place to stay organized and have fun decorating as well.
For the personal size planner I had fun with the pattern papers and making some flags of various sized and shapes.  I then added falling hearts with a bow on one of our hat pins.
BloggerImage
For the Valentine's week I kept with the flag theme and then added some washi I had to the 14th with a vellum heart.  I also took one of our decorative heart dies and punched a few holes to add into the weekly spread.  I can add a little note to the back for a fun message for the week.

Here you can see I had fun making some planner clips.  Its fun to have some pretty clips to help keep your place in the planner. I like to have a few stamped clips and a pretty ribbon clip to spruce up my organization for the month.  It's a lot of fun to switch them out as you have different occasions. I also like to use my Fun Stampers Journey Fun Day clips.  They are fun to add a bow to them with our twine. Enjoy decorating your planners in all areas each month.  It will help keep you motivated to stay creative and to keep yourself organized.

What are some of your favorite things to do in your planners?  Do you like to make new dashboards on a regular bases, planner clips or just decorate each week and mix things up. Have fun and it's time to start planning out your March layouts.

February A5 planner spreads

Today I want to share the February decorations I made for my planner this month.  As you can see I started with some fun planner clips.  I used our stamp set Stupid Cupid and Campfire Friends from the holiday Mini and our beautiful 6x6 pad Sweet Spring.  I also used one of the clips I made last month from the Countdown set with the gold and silver lips.
BloggerImage
I then made some tags and attached a few hearts for a nice little embellishments.  The cover of my February Month I intertwined various hearts together over stamping some ink splats on the background.  I also glued down several of the hearts I had cut out from the new heart strip die.

For my month at a glance I wanted to keep it minimal so I had room to write all my appointments.
BloggerImage
I cut various strips of paper to separate each day to add a little color to each weekly spread.  I really like adding the Dog stamp.  He is just too adorable and I liked using the pattern paper to make his shirt.
BloggerImage
I wanted to also show my layout for Valentine's Day.  I added a Heart grouping divider for this week and stamped some candies around to help celebrate.  I can add my thoughts to the hearts as the week passed.  It's fun to add little inserts to jot down you thoughts or notes as the week goes by.

With the A5 planners you have a little more room to be creative and still have room to write your appointments and notes as they come up.  It helps make keeping you scheduling fun and creative.  I hope your having fun with your planners.  You can use lots of your stamps, dies, and papers to make some fun projects and decorations that help make your planner unique and unlike anyone else's.  Have fun creating.  I will share the personal size planner in a few days.
