Awesome You

Today I am sharing the May kit of the month cards.  I love the bright colors on these cards.  There was a lot of fussy cutting on this set of cards but I think that really adds to the beauty of the cards.  By popping up the different layers you really give the flowers dimension.  Adding embossed pieces of cardstock to the backgrounds really adds some great texture to the cards as well. Finish them off with a little Journey Glaze and Sparkle dust and you've got some great cards.

Greeting Blocks

These 4 cards are from a past kit of the month set. I like this set because it would be great for quick note cards as well.  I have really enjoyed each set.  Last week I posted the current kit of the month cards if you want to get started so you don't miss out on anymore of these great cards.
These cards can be repeated with any sentiment stamps you have so let your imagination fly. The kit of the month is a great deal because you get four card kits and a stamp set all sent right to your house with detailed instructions on how to put them together. Enjoy

Movie Night

Today's card is good for giving movie tickets.  Its a simple card but fun and would also work for a teen birthday card. I added a little something inside the card as well.  Movies are also a great way to beat the heat so send this card as in invitation to your friends for a night out.

Today's card is made with the Under the Sea set from Fun Stampers Journey.  I used watercolor pencils, Wink of Stella pens, and various inks to make the background. By stamping second and third generation I added some depth to the underwater background.

Family Tree

Today I wanted to share a card I made using the stamp set Family Tree.  Its a very simple card but I really liked how it came out.  I added ribbon to the edges for a different effect then normal and the focus is entirely on the tree.  Add a button with some Journey twine to finish it off and you have a nice card you can send out to anyone in the family.

Shopping Marci

Today I'm sharing a card I made for a copic class this past weekend.  I had such a great time sharing my coloring techniques with new people.  I have always loved to color and copics have made it a lot easier for me.  I feel like a kid again and all I want to do is color.  For this card I used a LaLa Land Stamp called Shopping Marci.  Everyone in the class had fun and now I get to come up with another project for another class.  Next I get to work on flowers for our Copic club meeting this saturday at This N That in Chino Hills. Enjoy and get creating.
