She was so much fun to color. I hope you can join us Wednesday May 6, 2015. We are going to have a great time. This is such a fun image to really work on your shadows and Highlights for lots of contrast. Enjoy.

May Kit of the Month

This months kit is so beautiful I just can't wait to get it in the mail.
This is going to be so much fun to color with my copics, pencils, and watercolors. It is really going to have a ton of options for me. Here are the optional items you may want to have to complete the projects as shown.
If you are interested in signing up for the Kit of the month you can contact me here or sign up online using the link to my store on  the main page of my blog. I will share my cards once I complete them. The kit of the month allows you to have a class mailed to you with pictures and instructions to complete at your convenience. It's also a great way to get together with friends and work on them together if they are signed up as well.

Spring ATC

Today I'm sharing my spring themed ATC I made for a friend's trade group. I used a fun technique of combining 2 colors on one stamp. I first used Bubble gum to ink up the entire stamp and then I took Sweet Berry and brushed the edges and randomly across the stamp.
I embossed the sentiment and added a ribbon and pearl to finish it off. I hope you enjoy.

Marci on a Swing

Today I am sharing a card I made for a class I had this past weekend.  I got a request for this stamp set and to show how to build a background to support your image.
The first thing I did was stamp Marci with her swing on the paper and then drew a tree around her.  Now we have the tree to support the swing and can color in our scene.
It was so much fun to see  the picture come together.  I added some flower soft to the grass to give the effect of some wild flowers popping up.  I popped a few butterflies to add to the fun spring image.  I hope you enjoy.

Fun Stampers Journey class

Tuesday I have another Fun Stampers Journey class.  We are going to have some fun with a little turtle on this Birthday card.  I stamped him twice in 2 different colors so I could pop up his shell from the rest of his body.  I also made use of our pattern paper.  I think this is one of my favorites.
The next card is having fun with our daisy flowers and matching dies.  This is a card I made and showed a little while back that matched my scrapbook layout.

This card is making use of a stamp set that is on our retirement list.  If you enjoy a little cocktail every now and then you may want to grab this set while you still can.
For our last card I will be showing how you can add multiple colors to one image before you stamp.  Its a fun technique that adds some depth to your image.  I also just love using the piercing elements as you can see from these cards for this months class.

I really hope you are inspired to create by these images and try some of the things you see.  Any of the stamps and inks I used for these cards can be found in my Fun Stampers Journey store.  You can also contact me if you would be interested in having a party and earn some free items while having a fun time with your friends and family.

Bunnie ATC

Today I'm sharing an ATC I made for my April swap with my friend Kristy. The theme was Bunnies. I thought it would be fun to have my bunning sitting on the moon contemplating all the rest time after Easter. Lol
As you can see I had to make a few.
I added some splash of silver silks and some sequins to act like sparkling stars
Any of the items used to create these cards can be found at my Fun Stampers Journry store. Click on the link on my main page to shop. Have a nice day.

Watercoloring with Distress Inks

Today I'm sharing the cards for my class on Tuesday. We will be making 3 cards using Heartfelt Creations stamps and dies with distress markers. We just started carrying these in the store so I wanted to have a class that would showcase the dimension you can get with these stamps and dies.
You can see the flowers are popped up and look more alive. I used a big ball stylus to increase the dimension of the flowers by adding the roundness.
As you can see we will do the same thing with the birds on this card.
This card I left simple but I added some pearls for dimension.   I hope you enjoy these cards and can come to my class.

Birthday Card Trade

Today I'm sharing a card I made for a trade at Yummy and Delicious.  The theme was Birthday Cards.  I used the stamp set To You.  I just love the cakes in this set.  I used my copics to color the cake and added some of our wood button shapes to embellish the card.
I also used the pierced rectangle die to the Watermelon Fusion layer.  I wrapped the twine and the buttons to tie into the sparklers on the cake.  The sentiment comes from Cake Time stamp set.  Any of the items I used to make this card can be found on my online store.  I am also available to do parties for you and your friends.  Its a great way to learn some new things and earn some free products off your sales.

Yummy and Delicious Fun

Last weekend I had so much fun with my fellow Bliss Roadies that were able to attend Yummy and Delicious in Phoenix. Several of us carpooled together while others we met up with there.

We all had a blast making cards and sharing in the excitement of getting some sneak peeks of what is to come in June with the new catalog.  We arrived and received this stamp set which we would use to make our 4 cards.
Here are 2 of the cards we made on Saturday.  The first card used a kissing technique to mix 2 colors of ink for the frosting.  You may also notice we have some new pattern paper and embellishments coming in June from the card sample.  Enamel dots were so much fun to use and I want to put them on all my projects.

No you can see some of the cute patterns of our paper in this line.  Next we learned how to do a faux shaving cream technique.  This was my favorite technique because I love the look of the shaving cream technique but not all the mess.
Doesn't the frosting look real and have a nice marble effect.  You may also notice the scallop element in the middle of the last card.  This is actually a cupcake liner die we will be releasing in June but added it to our card. If you have a chance to attend any of the other stops on the Yummy and Delicious Tour I would highly suggest you go.  We were given some great prizes and the ability to purchase some new product.  I don't want to give everything away but I will tell you it is well worth it and you will have a great day with all your friends.
This link will give you information about other dates and cities. You also get to have fun taking pictures with everyone as well.  As you can tell from the pictures we had a really great time.
