July Copic Coloring class

Today I'm sharing the card we will be making at This N That on Wednesday July 1, 2015.  You still have time to sign up.  We will be coloring one of the Bloom Girls.  I really loved how this one turned out and can't wait to share it with you.

This is Emily and I think she is super fun to color.  Because of the placement of the stamp I also was able to change it up a little and use the line from her necklace to make it look like a v-neck on a t-shirt.  I hope you can join us to color up this card.  You can call the store to sign up at (909)464-1108.  The class will be Wednesday from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm.  You will need your basic supply kit as well as the following copic markers.
  E13, E11, E00, E000, R81, R83, N5, E59, E19, E08, YR02, YR000, Y28, Y26, Y23, Y21, YG99, YG97, YG95, YG93, YG91

I hope you will be able to join me in this fun class.

Washi tape

Today I want to share a tag I made for our convention bags. One thing I did was make my own washi tape.
As you can see I used my craft mat to hold down my paper tape. I then used direct to paper method with my ink pad to add some cool pool to my tape. I then took my stamp and filled it in with hazelnut blend ink. While I let that dry I started making my tags.
These tags had everyone's states they came from so we wouldn't lose our bags among all those at convention. I had found some example of making washi tape online so I just had to try it. I really liked how it turned out. Now I know I can always make my own coordinating washi tape. Hope you give it a try.

June Kit of The Month

Today I want to share with you the cards I made with the June Kit of the Month.  You still have time to sign up and receive this cute stamp set and the supplies to make these 4 cards.
This first card is a fun way to showcase your dies.  We added the arrow sentiment to finish off the layered die cuts and then added some Journey Glaze along with our new Journey Sparkle Cuts.

I really loved this one showing how you can just make use of your piercing elements from your die set.  Add some Cool Pool and Bubble Gum Silks along with our new Journey Thread.  A couple of Candy Minis and Journey glaze finish it off nicely.

On this card you can see our new embossing folder and silks again.  We also used the Snapshot die to place a picture inside to personalize our card. Add some Bubble Gum Journey Thread, mini clothespin, heart button and some Candy dots as final touches to the card.

The last card in the kit is a fun card for that favorite Selfie you have taken.  You will see in the background is one of our new pattern papers.  We also have the Cool Tune Elements with a little black bow attached. The elements are such a fun way to add a little something to your projects.

The Kit of the Month is a fun way to get a personalized class right at home.  You will receive a stamp set, 4 card kits all cut with accessories, and PDF's with instructions on how to complete.  You only need to provide the inks and adhesives to assemble. I like to get together with my friends and we make our cards together.  It a fun way to have a party without all the prep work.

During the month of June you have an additional opportunity to receive this KOTM.  Any new Journey Coaches that sign up this month for the Blooming Grand Kit will receive the June KOTM along with their started kit.  Its a great boost to your starter kit.  I would love to have you join my team.  We have a lot of fun and instant crafting friends to share all your ideas with.

Stamping Demo

Today I want to share a demo I will be doing for a friend.  She is having a gather of crafting friends and invited me to come share the Journey.

I wanted to have some fun with our new stamp sets, printed papers and the Cool Pool Silk.

I made this cute ATC hug using our stamp set Sweet Home.  I stamped the birds on an angle and then wrapped Black Journey Twine to give the appearance of a wire for the birds to rest on.  We saw this in a demo at our convention last week and I couldn't wait to try it.  I used out stamp set Brush Stroke to stamp the large circle in yellow and then stamp the birdhouse over to add color to it.
I then fussy cut the birdhouse and added a bow and the new Heart sparkle drops.  I made a mini banner with our new Black and White Printed paper.  I popped up the bottom layer on the card added the banner and popped the birdhouse.  Once I had it all assembled I add the Cool Pool Silks and then finished it off with some Journey Glaze and Sparkle Dust.

On the inside I added the message Home Sweet Home and a couple of black birds.  I hope you enjoy.  All of the items used can be purchased at my store at

Convention trades

Hello there,
Today I want to share my trades I made for convention. I participated in 3 trades. My first share is from my Bio trade. We exchanged cards that shared a little biography about ourselves. This is a fun way to get to know fellow Journey Coaches.
The next trade I did was a 6x6 trade. This was for our group trade. I used the cupcake stamp I got at Yummy and Delicious.
The last trade I did was a Masculine trade. I had fun with the motorcycle stamp.

I got so many great ideas from these trades.  I did make one more once we got there with the new stamp sets we received. This one was an ATC.
I can't wait to create some more things with all my new stamps this weekend. I'm starting at my playday tomorrow. All these items can be purchased at my shop at
I hope you create some beautiful things this weekend as well.
Happy Stamping

FSJ 1st Convention

Our first convention is over but what an amazing experience.

Here is a picture of part of the team on day 2. We had so much fun and learned a lot about all our new products.
We have embossing folders, new dies, journey thread, and a new Journey Platnium that will run steel rule dies. So many more things to share.
We also had some awards on our first night together. Rose Curtis recognized individuals on our team with top recruiting and tops sales. So exciting and I won 2nd in recruiting and 1st in sales. Whoo Hoo!
We had so much fun and a great dinner to celebrate our first day of convention.
The second day was full with great classes, giveaways, and demos.
This is what came in out kit and a couple of giveaways. Day 2 ended with our recognition dinner and I had the honor of being selected for our 2015/2016 Leadership Team.
We were all so excited and can't wait to see what this next year holds for us. It's going to be so much fun and I can't wait to share everything with you all. I will be creating lots of projects with all the bundles I purchased and all the products we won. I just have to figure out what I want to start with first. Let's see....what should I use first?
Lol. Do you think I have enough options? We will be rolling out new products over the next few months but we have the new catalog available now.
You can see it all here at (2015/2016 Catalog)
It amazing so pace yourself.

Ice Cream Fun

Today I am sharing the final card we will be making on June 16th at This N That Scrapbooking.  I used a fun bright color combo of Watermelon Fusion, Citrus Cooler and Summer Days.  I used our Graduated Dots background stamp on a pierced Summer Days piece of cardstock.  I also used the Reverse Banner die to add the sentiment.  I then fussy cut the scoops of Ice cream I stamped to make a four scoop cone.
I finished it off with some ribbon, rhinestones and our new Bubble Gum Silk.  I hope you have enjoyed the four cards I have shared over the last week. If you would like to join me and make these cards you can sign up at This N That Scrapbooking in Chino Hills.  The phone number is (909)464-1108. I hope to see you there.  All the stamp sets I used can be purchased from my store when we launch the new catalog.  Stay tuned and I will let you know when all our new items will be available for purchase.  I can't wait to see what else is coming and share it with everyone.
