Paris Girl

Today I want to share a card I finally put together from my last Bliss Roadies downline meeting I attended. I used my color pencils to color this fun girl up.

This was one of the projects Rose had for us to make. I wanted to take my time with my coloring so I didn't do it until I came home. We also had fun with the Paris stamp and die set. It's so much fun to color this girl. I have now used my copics, and my colored pencils. Next I plan to use my inks and blending solution to do some painting. I will share that when I finish. All the papers, stamps and dies used for this card can be found in my shop at

July Kit of the Month

Today I wanted to share a card I made with the July Kit of the Month.  This set is so much fun and you still have time to get it.  All you need to do is sign up for the Kit of The Month on my website Here.  This Kit of the Month is great because you get a stamp set each month with 4 card projects to complete.  These projects help get your creative juices flowing and then you can create your own cards from there.
As you can see here I created my own card once I finished making the cards that came with the Kit of the Month.  I used some of the elements from the other cards and added them with my own ideas and there you have it.  Here is a picture of the 4 cards you can make with this month Kit.
You only have until the end of July to sign up and get this kit. Enjoy and Happy Stamping,

July Fun Stampers Journey Card Class

Our new catalog is here and I am just loving all the new goodies we have to play with.  The 4 projects I'm showing you today we will be making Tuesday July 21, 2015 at This N That Scrapbooking.  The first 2 projects I am using our new stamp set Capture the Moment.  I just love this set because you can leave it alone and just stamp it as I have done here or you can have fun coloring it with your various coloring items.
You may have also noticed that I am using some of our new Pattern papers.  I just love how they coordinate with our inks and papers.  They also give you great color combos to use based on all the colors you see in each sheet.

This Bicycle card I wanted to used this pattern paper and then used the colors in it to help me come up the the cardstock to use.

Our Bird card is using another new set called Sweet Home.  The demo'd a similar project at convention and I just loved the birds on a wire.  It's a little hard to see but I also used our new embossing folder Above the Clouds

The last card is one of my favorites. I started with the stamp set Retro Chic. I just had to use our Journey Girl line of black and white paper, buttons and add a little pop of color with our new Vintage Lace. I popped up the Girl and added Journey glaze to her hair and belt.  This is another stamp set that would be fun to color with pencils, copics or even watercolor.  I really hope you can join us to make these great cards.  You will see I have added a tab to my blog with my classes.  I will update that page with samples as each class passes.  Thanks so much for stopping by.

Carson Rubber Stamp Show

Saturday I went to the Carson Rubber Stamp show and entered the ATC contest for the first time.  I was having a hard time deciding which card I wanted to enter but I ultimately went for my spaceman.

I embossed the image with white embossing powder.  I then colored the rocket using silver silks and used gold and bronze silks for the flames.  I splattered with silver and gold as well.  I then used my press punch to make some random sized holes around and used Whip Cream ink for the chalkboard technique to give the effect of galaxies. Next I layered my Denim Days card piece on to our new shimmery black cardstock to add some depth to the holes.  Finally I punched one last hole through both layers so one of them would allow you to see the blue layered card behind that one.  Once it was all together I added some Journey Glaze to the face shield of the astronaut and the rocket ship and a few random spots around the background.  I really had a fun time making this card. I hope you enjoy it also.  I didn't win but it was fun to enter.  I will definitely try again next show.

July Distress Inks class

Today I want to share with you the cards we will be making July 14, 2015 at This n That scrapbooking in Chino Hills.  We are going to learn how to make a great colorful background with our distress stains.  We will make 2 full sheets of the multicolored background and then cut it up to make 2 cards out of each sheet.  This will leave you with leftovers to make more cards at home.

As you can see the first 2 are made with a background we made using a striped pattern. These background pages are great for quick cards and can be easily finished off with some stamps, dies or ribbon.

As you can see from the last 2 cards I made a multicolored background by randomly adding color all over.  It's so much fun to work with the stains on watercolor paper.  I just love how they blend together and make such a beautiful watercolored background. These are fun to make and just have laying around to use with you need to whip up some fast cards.  I hope you can join us Tuesday July 14, 2015 at 6:oo pm to 8:00 pm.  Call the store to sign up today (909) 464-1108.

Happy 4th of July

I hope you all are enjoying a great day of BBQ and fun with all your friends and family.  I want to share a patriotic card I made for the occasion.
I used the firework stamp to make my own background.  For the sentiment I inked it up with Candy Apple ink and then brushed Huckleberry Fusion ink on the bottom edge to have it transition into the new color.I addeded some rhinestones, Journey Glaze and Sparkle dust along with some patriotic ribbon.  Enjoy your Day.

Wish in a Bottle

Today I wanted to share the March KOTM.  When you get the kit of the month you get a stamp set and 4 great cards all cut and ready for you to assemble and stamp.  You get a PDF to walk you through the steps.  The other benefit is you get a stamp set that will not be available for 3 months.  Starting July 1st you can now purchase this stamp set but those of us in the Kit of the Month got to start playing with this great stamp set in March and got 4 great projects to jump start our creativity.  I just loved coloring these with my copics.
I also added some Cool Pool silk to this one to add some splashes of color to the background.

You can see that the bottles allow you to add some fun images inside the bottles so you can look as some of your other stamp sets for additional messages to place in the bottles.

This lovely scroll stamp can be used to make this into a graduation card if you wanted.

On this stamp I actually cut out the center because it comes with Please Note and lines for a message in the center of the bottle.  I used my exacto knife to cut that away so I have 2 stamps now and can use them together or separated.  This gives me more options for my bottle without having to mask the center. By adding Journey glaze to any of these bottles also helps add to the glass effect.  You can find all the stamps, paper and ink used on these cards at
