Trick or treat

Making tags for treat bags.
I had fun coloring my Lil Monster stamp and then using my due to cut him out. I colored 12 different monsters so each bag is different.  I then used my tag die to cut out tags and added washi tape to match each monster. As a final touch I used a wobble to attach the monster to the tag.
The kids are going to have fun with the wiggle monsters as they eat their candy. Have a Happy Halloween.

Happy Halloween

Here are some fun cards I colored with my copics. The stamps are Simply B Stamps. They are so cute. I used the same color scheme for all 3 cards including using one of the fluorescent markers. I love how it added to the sparks from the wand as well as in dragon.

Journey Media classes

This is the last few days to purchase the Journey Media classes. They were a blast and you can learn to make some great projects. Here are the pictures of my cards from the first class.
These cards showed how to use multiple techniques that you can incorporate into many other projects.   There was also a second and third class to show you how to make a home decor project and an art journal. You can work at your own pace and make the projects into different color schemes like I did here on my home decor project.
You can find the classes on my website at
Click on shop and select journey media bundles to see everything available. I can't wait to make more of these home decor projects for various holidays. I have learned a lot of techniques and have had fun incorporating them into many other projects.

Copic fun

Here are some fun cards I colored for my beginning copic class earlier this month. Flowers are so much fun to color because you can use anything you have.
It was so much fun watching everyone learn how to use the copics and improve right before your eyes. Next month we will be coloring fall and holiday images. As soon as I make the cards I will share. I'm going to be creating at the scrapbook expo this weekend so I should have a tone of new cards to share. Enjoy and happy stamping.

Happy Halloween

Today I wanted to share a fun project I made with my Journey media items.  I had fun with my sprays and stencils creating the background for my ATC trade.  I then stamped my tree in Black Licorice and my bats.  On a separate piece of paper I stamped a bat and cat and then fussy cut them out so I could pop them up on the ATC.  I added journey glaze on the tree, bats and the cat.  A little sparkle dust added some bling to the background.  I also curled the banner to give the effect of a wave.  Don't forget the Fall Fest sale is going on and all the fall holiday stamps are 20% off this month.  Its a great time to stock up on all those Halloween and Thankgiving stamps you really want to make all your treats and decorations.  If you find anything you want let me know I will get that ordered right away.
Happy Stamping.

Pumpkin Arrangement

Playing with my copics again for today's card.  I really enjoy coloring with these markers.  You can get such depth in your images with them.
We will be making this card at Jollene's Paperie in Banning on October 17th.  The stamp is from Impression Obsession.  I just loved coloring the pumpkin.  It just came to life before my eyes.  I hope you can join us.  You can find out my class schedule on the home page of my blog under upcoming classes.

Thank You card

Today is World Card Making Day.  I hope you are all creating some great cards today, I want to share a card that makes use of our pattern papers and embossing folders.  Its a great way to also make great use of your scraps.
As you can see I distressed the edges of the pattern papers.  I used the ink splat embossing folder to add texture to the white cardstock.  Sometimes simple cards are great to make and get inspired by.  You could use up all the scraps you have of pattern papers and make a variety of cards.  These are great cards to make gift sets to give to your friends and family as well.  We all love to get hand made cards.  They mean so much more to use that someone took the time to make something so special. Have a great day and I hope you all get the chance to make the most of World Carding Making Day

Today's card was having fun with the Autumn Days stamp set.  I stamped the leaves on the card front to make my own background.  I then stamped them again on Buttercream cardstock.  I then used stippling brushes to add various colors to my fall leaves.  I liked using the brushes instead of daubers to color the leaves because it adds a little more texture to them. I hope you can join us in class at This N That October 20th.
