Flamenco Marci

Today I want to share the card we will be making June 1st at This N That Scrapbooking.  We are going to color Flamenco Marci by LaLa Land with our copics and then make her into a card using the Ole paper from Sabor Papel.
I really liked how this image worked with the paper.  I then cut one of the guitars from the paper and layered it on top.  I added some additional roses that would go with the roses on the image.  It's just such a fun card I hope you will join us.  You can call the store to sign up (909) 464-1108.

Taking Flight ATC

Today I want to share an ATC I made for a trade on Sunday.  I started by stamping the little plane from the ATC Above Ground.  I colored them with my copic markers and then layered them on Cool Pool Cardstock.  I wrapped a piece of silver twinkle trim from the Spring into Summer Mini Catalog.  I then stamped the saying "go on an adventure" to the bottom right had side of the ATC from the stamp set Text Happy.  I popped up the layer on a piece of Beach Breeze cardstock to finish it off.

This card I wanted to keep clean and simple.  This way the image really stands out.  I hope you like it and decide to color your own image and share it with your friends. For the plain I used BG09, BG07,  BG05, BG02 for the Turquoise and then C6, C4, C2, C0, C00 for the white areas on the plane.

Patriotic House Trio

Today I want to share the project we made at my May downline meeting.  This month we decided to decorate the House Trio from the main catalog.

We started with a coat of Gesso to help prepare the wood for all the additional layers.

The smallest house I added some huckleberry Fusion reinker to some gesso and sponged on a bottom layer.  I then took the Starburst stencil to add some Journey Modeling paste on top for some additional texture.  I then took a little more Huckleberry Fusion and sponged a second layer on top to cover up the white modeling paste. I added on a couple of stars and a banner to finish it off.

For the middle house I added Candy Apple reinker to some modeling paste.  I had to add several drops to try and get a darker shade to look more like a red.  I used the Chevron stencil to look more like the stripes.  For this one I wanted a little more fun.  I used the ATC Rock On to give it a more playful feel.  I finished this one off with a little confetti, sequins, a few stars and some journey glaze.

For the final house I used the River Stone paint mixed with a little journey gel medium to give an aged look. I then had fun using the gel medium to layer some stars I had die cut our of whip cream, candy apple and denim days cardstock.  I added a little glass glitter for some sparkle and I sprayed one of our white media flowers in Silver. I added a little roof on all 3 houses as a final touch once I was done with all 3.

I think these will be a great decoration for Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day. These houses are fun to decorate for any occasion.

Special Lady ATC trade

Today I want to share an ATC I made for my friends May trade. The Theme was Special Lady so I had fun with my Retro Chic stamp set and paper piecing.
I stamped the girl on whip cream cardstock and cut her out. I then stamped the dress on pattern paper and fussy cut are ou d the arm to paper piece it on top. I then die cut a pink journey bloom out of watermelon fusion cardstock to add a pop of color amongst the orange and yellow colors.
I stamped the pineapple smoothie cardstock with a retro looking background stamp. I fussy cut the little flower for her hair from one of our paper packs that are retiring. A couple of pearls and a ribbon finished off the trade. I really wanted to use some of our stamps that are retiring. You can find all our retiring items on my website for 40% off.

Receipt planner die

Today I want to share a project I did with my downline this weekend. I have been having great time decorating my planners so I was really excited when my new planner die came in the mail. I grabbed my new pattern papers from the spring mini and the beautiful new flower die to create a fun pocket page for my planner.
Here you can see I has having fun with my purple papers. I used my bloom took to add dimension to each of the flowers I chose to use and add some veining to the leaf. I then sponged the edges of the flowers to add a little depth to them.
I finished off the flower with the glass glitter. This is a fun pocket to store receipts or even a to do list for the day. I will probably also use it to make sure I take my shopping list to the store with me. I hope your having fun with your planners. Happy stamping.
