January Planner pages

Hi everyone,
I'm back from our first ever Leadership conference for Fun Stampers Journey. It was amazing of course and I learned a lot. I look forward to sharing so many things with you in the next several days so keep your eyes open for many more announcements here and on my Facebook page.  Now as you know I went with gold silver and black on my clipboard calendar.  Well I also went with that same theme in my planner as well.
The first thing I did was use Vellum to make a dashboard to start of the year. I embossed some champagne bottles in black on the brushed gold paper and also did a Happy New Year banner for the top.  I then added a star and some feathers to finish it off.
Next you can see I cut out a mini calendar with my notebook page die and added some sparkle tape and silks.  I then wrapped it in some of our twinkle trim around and tied it in a loose knot.  Pop a silver star and add a few sparkle drops to finish off this fun little addition to my planner

BloggerImage On the January monthly view page I added a tag I received o a present in December.  I really loved the colors and knew it went with my theme.  You can also see I added a bloom benefit star to my page as well. With all the decorations going on on the first two pages I kept this one to a minimum.
BloggerImage As you can see here I had some fun with various Washi tape I had in golds and blacks.  I added one of our gold clips and embossed in gold the count down to the new year.  I even made a few planner clips to go along with my spreads this month.
this week was my Lead with Heart Leadership conference for Fun Stampers Journey.  I had some Gold heart washi that I thought would go with that theme.  BloggerImage
I'm still staying with the gold theme and using various washi tapes I have to block off each day on my weekly view.  Its a fun way to dress it up before I have to write all my plans on each day to keep me on track.

I hope you are having fun with your planners.  I have several I am using to help keep me organized this year and truly stick with my word for the year Focus.  I look forward to branching out into some fun new creative areas and sharing all of it with you as I go.  Thanks for checking out my blog and feel free to share what you doing with your planners.  I would love to see what you all are doing.

Distress Inks Class

Lets have fun with the Crazy animals by Tim Holtz.  We are having fun with these characters to make some fun Valentine's Cards.  Our first card is with the Crazy Bird and a box of chocolates.
Our second card we will watercolor is the Crazy Cat.  I had fun making the background with the extra stamps that come with the cats.  You can use your small stamps to make your own background papers.

The final card is using the Crazy Dogs stamp set.  I added the accessories to this cute bulldog.  Isn't he just the cutest all dressed up for his Valentine?

I hope you can join us for this fun Class on Tuesday January 10th.  Call This N That to sign up at 909-464-1108.

Happy New Year

I hope you all had a wonderful New Year's Eve celebration and are ready to hit the ground running in 2017.  Today I wanted to share with you my Journey Days Clipboard Calendar.  I really love the size of this and it will be perfect for my desk at work.  It comes with all 12 months for 2017 pre-printed and ready for you to decorate each month.  For January I wanted to have fun with our Countdown stamp set.
I really love this set because not only is it great for your New Year's celebrations but also any festive parties.  You can use it for birthday's, masquerade parties, and even Valentine's.  There are so many options for it.  I used this with our gold, silver and black licorice papers to decorate my calendar.  I also used this same theme in my planner but I will share that with you on another day.
As you can see I die cut several of our stars in the gold and silver papers and scattered them around.  Some I adhered down flat and other I popped up for some added dimensions.  I then heat embossed in black the top hat, champagne bottle and the Happy New Year.  I tied our River Stone ribbon around the top banner and added some sparkle drops for a dash of bling. Finally I added some of our new Black sparkle tape with some gold and silver cardstock flags and then  finished it off with some of our silver silks.  You still have time to order this great Clipboard calendar and start decorating yours for 2017.  We can even book a party and work on them all together.  You can find all these supplies on my website at
