Create A Pallet ink pad

Hi everyone,
Today I want to share with you a new stamp pad we have that allows you to create your own unique blends of colors.  Our new Create-A-Palette stamp pad can be made with our new liquid colors or our True Fusion Ink Refills.  For this pad I chose to use our True Fusion Ink Refills to get the colors I wanted.  I started with Pineapple Smoothie, Lemon Drop, Citrus Cooler, Rich Coral and then Pomegranate Splash

Going from lightest to darkest in the order I have listed I had a perfect color combo for a sunset.  I just love the vibrant variation in colors i got when I stamped with this pad.  In the last picture you can see the filled in sections and a sample of the stamped images. One of the cards I made was using our Ornate Blooms ATS stamp.  I loved how it showed off the blending of colors.

I cut out the image and layered it on Rich Coral paper.  I then then used the Lemon Drop ink pad and stamped that same image on Lemon Drop paper.  This helped add a little dimension to the paper layer so it wasn't so plain.  I then used the Embroidered Greetings Stamp for the sentiment.  I then took one of our wood pieces from Summer Fun Chips and pressed it into the Lemon Drop stamp pad to color it.  Using one of our small daubers I colored the edge with the Rich Coral stamp pad.  I added some journey glaze on top and a twine multi bow to finish off the card along with some sparkle drops.

The second background you saw above was used for the Koi Dreams card.

This is another ATS stamp but from our Mystic Romance collection.  I love the embroidered look you get with this collection.  I stamped the Koi Fish using the same pallet as the rest of the images and then used the matching die to cut it out.  I layered it on a hexagon die cut piece to help set it off from the background image and then added a strip of Rich Coral for the sentiment.  A piece of Citrus Cooler Satin Ribbon and some Rhinestones helped finished off this card.

So, as you can see the create a pallet can have some stunning results for your stamped images.  One thing to remember is you can use either the liquid colors to make a pallet or the True Fusion Reinkers but you don't want to mix the 2 on the same pallet.  The Liquid colors are a dye based ink and will react to water.  The True Fusion Ink is a fusion between a dye based and pigment based ink so it doesn't react with water.  Let me know what you think of the Create a Pallet ink pads.  What colors do you want to use to make your ink pad.
