Happy birthday balloons

Happy birthday!!!  Today I’m sharing a couple more of the birthday cards I made using my cricut. It’s fun to have some generic birthday cards on hand. We have all had a birthday sneak up on us so it’s great to be prepared.

The images were done in layers. I love that my explore separates the various layers for me. I don’t really have to think to much about it while designing. I can set a canvas the size of my card and the just design. It calculates and separates everything on to different mats for me. I can choose which colors I want for each layer and then load my mats.

I just added a few enamel dots to the card and the assembled my cuts. It’s nice because you can also save the layout. Now you can change your paper and make several in different color schemes if you wanted to. Have you been making cards with your machine?  It’s fun to mix it up every so often.

Masculine birthday cards

Today I’m sharing some cards I made using my cricut. I wanted some cards I could have handy for birthdays but would work for anyone. I could give to my brother or nieces. So many times we do very feminine type cards and don’t have a good stash of masculine cards available.

So this first card is good for anyone’s birthday. You could even change the sentiment and make it a congratulatory card or good job. Lots of potential for this layout.

The next card is a birthday card but could also be changed to Father’s Day. It’s very masculine with the ties.

Both cards are done with cuts from the cricut. What have you used for masculine cards?  I like shapes as well as traditionally masculine topics like sports, tools, cars. I hope you liked these cards.  It's always fun to play with diecuts.
