Today I want to share the cards I made for my color pencil class this month. I started with the Winter Wonderland digital download from RGSTUDIO360.
I wanted to use blues so I colored the base of the flowers with a deep blue pencil and pulled the color out with a blending stump and odorless mineral spirits.

As you can see it gives a lighter blue tint to the flowers. Once I had the deep blue done I went with a very pale blue pencil to color in the tips of the petals. I love the light colors on the kraft paper. I did the same thing with each color. I was able
to lay down the color where I wanted the shadows to be and pulled the colors out to give it a softer look.
I then went back with a white pencils to blend in the highlights. You can really see this on the leaves. After I had the cards all assembled I added some stickles to the flowers and berries. A few splatters of some sparkle silk and you have a nicely finished card.

I really like the added touch of the stickles on this last card on the berries and the poinsettia. I am having fun doing classes for groups of friends that decide to get together and have me come teach some specific techniques. If you would like to have a class let me know. We can work on finding a date that works for you and your friends. All these images can be found on my website at rgstudio360.com/#StampinNikki. This image comes in both stamps and digital images. When you purchase the stamp set you get the digital images also. This is my favorite part because I can play with the digital images while I wait for my stamps to arrive. Thanks for checking out my blog today. I hope you have a great week.
